Dark purplish garnet, clear, medium body, but lots of texture. Dried black cherry and dusty plum, campfire smoke and minerality. This is a lean, muscular, balanced #riberadelduero with a moderate, tannic bite and full finish. A little astringent on opening, but redder fruits emerge after an hour. Best served a little chilled. Super value table wine. Should be amazing with the beef stew and twice-baked potatoes @macthorny is making tonight!
80% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
WS 94, 60 year-old vines, 24 months in American and French oak.
